Abstract

Dedi Nataniel is a pioneer of early detection of disability and inetletual delays. Intellectual disability and delay in children are often not identified early on due to limited public knowledge and the non-optimal use of digital technology in screening activities. This condition can hinder the provision of timely intervention and have an impact on the quality of children's growth and development. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of health workers, Posyandu cadres, playgroup development cadres, pregnant women, and mothers under five through training on the Application of Early Detection of Blindness and Intellectual Retardation of Children to Increase Public Health Resilience through an Interprofessional Approach to Education. The methods used included counseling, demonstration of application use, hands-on practice, and post-training evaluation using questionnaires of 60 participants. The evaluation covers six aspects, namely system quality, ease of use, application benefits, user satisfaction, interpersonal support, and intent to use. The results showed that the majority of participants gave a very good assessment of all aspects evaluated. The application is considered to have an attractive appearance, easy to learn and operate, able to increase the effectiveness of early detection, support follow-up decision-making, strengthen communication and collaboration between professions, and obtain a high level of satisfaction and intention to use. Most of the participants also expressed a willingness to continue using and recommending the app to other users. These findings show that Dedinataniel is a digital innovation that is feasible to be applied in community-based health services to support early detection of childhood blindness and intellectual retardation. Wider implementation accompanied by ongoing training has the potential to increase screening coverage, accelerate interventions, and improve the quality of children's health services.
