Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam peningkatan kapasitas relawan darurat dan penanggulangan bencana merupakan aspek krusial dalam membangun ketahanan masyarakat terhadap risiko bencana. Sebagai langkah awal, pemberian materi pengetahuan kepada relawan menjadi prioritas utama. Diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kapasitas relawan darurat dan relawan penanggulangan bencana untuk mampu memberikan bantuan secara cepat dan tepat pada saat terjadi keadaan darurat dan kejadian bencana. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 26 Mei 2024 dengan target peserta sebanyak 150 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan berupa ceramah dan tanya jawab dengan media yang digunakan adalah skill station yaitu BHD, Patient Transfer, dan Splint dressing. Hasil dan luaran dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilaksanakan. Hasil tes pengetahuan terhadap materi yang akan diberikan pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat setelah pemberian materi pengetahuan peserta hampir seluruhnya (80%) berpengetahuan baik dan sebagian kecil (20%) berpengetahuan cukup. Pemberian materi pengetahuan kepada peserta hanyalah langkah awal dalam mempersiapkan relawan menghadapi bencana. Evaluasi berkala, perhatian terhadap aspek psikososial, partisipasi aktif peserta, kerjasama lintas sektor, keberlanjutan program, partisipasi masyarakat, dan pemanfaatan teknologi merupakan langkah penting dalam menjamin efektivitas program pelatihan relawan bencana.
